I was told my car is in the lake wanaka ship and it looks like it will arrive in Houston on the 17th. How long does it usually take to process the car and get to the dealership? I'm in Dallas, which is about a 4 Hour drive from Houston. I know it varies and the car can get stuck there sometimes, but what is the average time a car normally stays at the port once it's has arrived?
Some cars sit longer with issues like waiting for an amp or parts or paperwork.

Can't Porsche just stop shipping SUVs and electric cars until they catch up on getting the 2 doors to all the enthusiasts?

It’s bad enough that I am not sure I want to go through the order process again for my Boxster GTS… if the cars were any less awesome I certainly wouldn’t.

I'm not so sure it is a shipping backlog. Sunshine Ace sat at Emden for at least 2 days. Is it reasonable to assume it was waiting for full load ?
My Spyder got on and it had just arrived a couple of days before. May be minor parts shortages dealt with at port?

When is the next boat to Houston? My GT4 RS just finished production today.

I dunno man, my Cayenne GTS has missed 3 boats to the west coast so far… which makes 3 months of sitting in Emden… if Porsche is filling boats with SUVs it isn’t my fault.

My car was on siem Confucius. unloaded in Baltimore on 2/9. My dealership is 45 minutes away still no car.
I think like others said. This was a big shipment for a lot of dealers and the docks seem to have problems processing this many. So many things have changed because of Covid.

There is a private terminal at the Port called "Trade Point Atlantic" and it has been terribly congested after the Holidays.

Hi All, like many before me, was following on TYD until my C4S arrived at Emden 2/10, decided to google/search rennlist what was going on. Man, I hope I'm not waiting another 2 months like some have. Is there a good way to figure out what/when the next ship out of port is? Coming to Benicia Port in CA.
