Default Trade headlights?

My car has the shark blue PDLS headlights but no other shark blue so they don’t match. Ordered like that by the dealer.

Checking to see if anyone with black PDLS (not PDLS+) would want to swap mine for theirs.

Can you cover the SB ring with a dark/black overlay?

As an example:

What is your exterior color and stitching color?

Absolute worst case, $3,995 solves your problems: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/sku992ledhl.html

At some point, you would be almost certainly able to sell the blue rimmed lights, especially in near new condition. What color is the car and why can't most dealers spec cars? The second question was rhetorical.

I'd prefer not to put vinyl over the headlight lens if I can find a better solution.

Chalk car with yellow stitching, calipers, seatbelts. No idea why they included one shark blue item, the headlights -- did the guy who specced the car have blue eyes??

I would think I could sell them pretty easily.

Great combo, but we are missing your photos. At this point, you are all in. I would just bite the bullet on replacements. There are so many Shark cars coming, somebody will definitely want those headlights.

If they would have done the blue striped wheels, shark stitching, belts and black calipers with the headlights it could have worked.

I've seen some bad specs, but this one takes the cake. What are some people thinking? SMH

Other than the headlights I love the spec. Should be able to be remedied.

Really nice looking car, except for the lights. Had to be Shark Blue build they changed and forgot about the headlights. Or the person ordered was an idiot. Easy fix on a beautiful car.

How much effort does it take to swap headlights? I have Shark Blue with black PDLS on the way: scheduled to be here in about 3-4 weeks. Might be interested if not too much effort to swap.

Pretty easy, but you have to remove the front wheels to access. Some high end PPF installers do it routinely.

I looked into this as I contemplated the work that my detailer will need to do for full custom PPF. There are a number of videos on YouTube and it's pretty straightforward, although more effort than on the 991 generation cars. Here's one that shows you how:
