Saw an R8 V10 Plus in Suzuka Grey Metallic today. It was stunning. I wish that color was offered on the GT3. Car was epic. That was my other go to also.

Idunno if any of you are going to road america track day on October 21st, but I'm signed up! Wow, a rude awakening when I see how much track day insurance costs... My god...

Hagerty is saying like $1800 online. I have insurance through another provider for day to day insurance, but almost $2k for 1 day novice track time? They say "3 days coverage" but this is kinda wack. The track day is like $340, then you spend 7x that for insurance? Ridiculous!

get yourself into a more advanced grouping and you won’t need insurance anymore (because you won’t have to worry about a day 1 driver trying to play daniel ric and rear ending you.) As long as you generally keep it facing in the right direction, the aggregate premiums saved will more than cover a minor mishap.

Thats ridiculous. At that price, it pretty much makes tracking pretty prohibitive if you’re insisting on coverages at least to me.
