But it def does look removable. Get a hairdryer on it for a bit and some floss behind it. Prob should come off. I do not like it. Be so much cleaner w/ out it!!

my car is stuck at the port waiting for TPMS sensors. my advisor showed me a screen indicating what parts it was waiting for. Johnny your advisor should be able to see it and tell you exactly the delay

My advisor seems to have less knowledge about this process than I do. Ever since I put in the order and got a commission number, I've had to kind of push him to get things done. He told me all he knows about the current status on the phone yesterday, but I don't want to tell him he doesn't know how to use his systems and **** him off either. I'm just riding this out at this point and hopefully the car comes next week!

It’s crazy to me how we sometimes know a lot more info than these dealers/SA’s/advisors whatever. When my 991.2 GTS got stuck at port for over a month my guy had zero answers for me. Did my own homework and found out exactly what was going on. Like isn’t this your job? Another thing that irks me is when these really expensive cars get stuck @ port for a long time and they are just sitting outside w the elements.. Rain, Beating Sun, etc….

Sorry for the rant lol.

Hope you guys get your cars soon and can’t wait for the pics!!

Unfortunately to say this is how it is as with all jobs of life. You have your bad employees, your ok employees, your good employees, and your outstanding employees. Most car sales people are just that...a sales person that's working a job. Nothing more and nothing less. Not necessarily anything wrong with that and then there are those that are car sales people that also happen to be car enthusiasts. Those are the folks that you'll want to work with or the "regular" employees that are outstanding that will go above and beyond for you.

We're on this website so it's safe to say that we're all at least some level a car enthusiast and care about all of the minute details and in many cases, we know more than the car sales person. Unfortunately, that means that we're applying our own expectations to someone that could care less except for when the next check is coming and how much it will be.

Dang! That blows.

Maybe that’s why my ED car is stuck in production.

Maybe you should just call TireRack and have the sensors shipped to port.
