What a roller coaster 6 days. I might have a heart attack before this car gets delivered. The day they announced the Touring my freeze date suddenly went from 8/31 to retroactively 6/10. We were able to change my build that day, which required PDK, and Germany accepted it. I had come to terms with PDK. Then with today's news (thank you RL members because I was in the dark to this development), I scrambled, and the dealer was able to change back to 6MT. Given the time difference, I'm always apprehensive of Germany's system accepting these last-minute changes since it's outside of their business hours, so am praying the dealer doesn't get any kickback tomorrow morning.

For those that reported this news here today, did you get any word if/when there would be an official public announcement either by Porsche or by CHP about the regulation update? Naturally, I fear a situation where registering in CA could still present issues for cars delivered this year and would sleep better with an official announcement.

Every slam on California that has been made in these forums over the last several weeks still holds true LOL.
I'm glad those who wanted a manual are now able to get one...but if I were a Cali resident I certainly wouldn't be in this thread like, "where them haters at??"
Your state is still broken. The fact that this even happened in the first place is still hilarious
