Manaus was chosen because it is a really cool saturated dark blue with some pop, not as dark as meer blau and near to dunkel blau but more rare in that it is not yet discovered or yet chosen so far as I have found. However it does share the same paint code as Pantone Blue (W50) from the 991 series. So… perhaps it is the same or perhaps different? Until i get the car and put it next to a Pantone I wont know for sure.

Manus is the new name for Pantone 296c. It is the same color hence the same paint code. Pantone is significantly lighter than meer and dunkel. It is very similar to Albert blue. It is lovely. Nice saturated dark blue in dark, overcast and indoor lighting. Significantly lighter in sun.

Pantone has a teal look in sun. Would have went there it it was a metallic
