Interesting takes from groups not getting the Touring. Some are reasonable and some are definitely not.
Ah, good thing I'm getting one so my impressions are obviously on the positive side. It doesn't look perfect to my eyes as I'm not a fan of the snout/nostrils and busy lower rear fascia with tons of exposed fins and would have preferred to have the ducktail, but it's not like I can make Andy and team to change their designs so I'd gladly take the car for what it is. Also, it's a GT3 after all so I can't expect it to be as compliant and useful as a regular Carrera.
California has been doing their automobile regulatory “go it alone” since the early 70s. Nothing new here. Sorry don’t buy APs explanation about a ducktail
‘s bad aero given the rest of the GT3 aero remains unchanged and the pop up spoiler, we are then to conclude, provides as much down force as the wing above 75mph. Just like no PDK on the .2 Touring because it would spoil the puristic nature of the car, wait for the ducktail on the 992.2 Touring.

Thought it would work, but it does look off from the side profile and rear. Something looks missing (it's the wing). The unpainted front lower bumper stands out more without the flat black of the wing to balance it out.
It is something to consider though especially for those who also track. Great to have the flexibility if you like the way it looks without the wing.
I love it! After having a 2016 and 2018 GT3 ( with Wings) - This looks like a perfect iteration for me. It's understated with all of the visceral experiences! I have a PTS allocation spot, but it sounds like its gonna be another 6-9 months till a touring hits my driveway.
I think the issue is that there are a number of people who actually don’t want a GT3, they are really just after a NA engine in a top end 911. These people are after a softer ride, pdk, rear seat and all the comfort and options of a GTS. I bet if Porsche had such an option (not that emission rules would allow them) it would keep all these people very happy and sell well. The GT3 is a very different beast - and rightly so.
