Default 992 Sport Classic

Posting here as this seems to be the spot for socials. This is the second time I've seen pics of this mule and didn't see a thread elsewhere.

Chris, have any intel in engine and whether Europe only again?

I wonder if this should be in the 992 section. This could be a really interesting, and great looking car!

Attention Porsche: Horsepower, torque, manual transmission, and please keep it as light as possible!

Unlikely but my dream would be Turbo S engine, 997.2 GT2RS manual 6-speed, 3000lbs.

Manual and >600 HP can be done( 997 2RS had that power with a manual).

It’s probably even possible on a 992 Carrera S with a couple bolt-ons and a tune...

Have to lose some weight to hit 3k though

The last Sport Classic came out of Exclusive so maybe this one will too.

I’m guessing MSRP of 180k USD base price and 250k fully loaded. Add ADM and you should see it some where between 400-600k depending on rarity, and that is the typical price for even the 997 sport classic.

Good luck getting one. I bet getting one is no different than the special 991.2 turbo S exclusive series that requires you to be a VIP (918 owner, or have contributed millions in revenue to the company) in order to get a call for an allocation.

You can try to buy an allocation off of a VIP, but most of them are car collectors to begin with, so expect them to never be driven too .

It could be something like the “club coupe” edition that came out in the 991 generation. It was based on the GTS, had a ducktail, similar wheels, custom color, and custom interior. Here’s a link to that model:

I hope not. The Sport Classic should differentiate itself a lot more than just a GTS Aerokit and wheels. We already know it likely has the widebody from the Turbo, manual only, a bubble roof, likely buckets, rear seat delete, centerlock Fuchs, and I’m hoping the 4.0L from the Cayman and not the GTS motor.
