PTS, FAL, Buckets and PCCB puts you over 194k, without any additional eye candy or leather.

with a light touch on options, my configuration is at $178k - I could actually be done with the GT3 between the questionable looks and the huge price increase . . . sad; I know Porsche won't miss me but its getting a bit outrageous, even by my standards
maybe I would not be saying this if the front and rear looked a little more traditional

So the extended leather package asks for a color but doesn't say what for. I am assuming it's for the stitching color but it says individual colors as if they mean the leather colors? Anyone get this?

The signs were on the wall. Some were saying options were going to be more expensive with a substantial base increase price based on 997 to 991 price jumps. A lot of people refused to believe it. Don't know why there are surprised pikachu faces now.

Now if you don’t have a GT3 - the new car price is not out of line when you got used ones with 5-10k miles asking for $170-180k.

That is just not true. Everything around us did not increase that much. The better indication is the consumer price index. (CPI)
2019 CPI +2.3%
2020 CPI +1.4%
GT3 +12% over less than three years.
I'm not knocking Porsche for raising the price this high though. I believe in the free market system and clearly demand is outstripping supply for the time being. I wonder though if demand at that price point will be sustained as the hype dies down and ADMs go away.
