The, manual, light handling, burbles and pops from the exhaust and open top motoring were hard to beat in terms of driving feel on my 981 Spyder. However, I still think the handling feel, 9k redline and manual pips it on my 991 GT3.

There's a shop in Florida that does manual conversions with factory level integration and rev matching. I think it's around $50-60k.

why shouldn't the rs have a manual just because it's hardcore and "designed for laptimes"? i've never heard a single guy with a carrera gt say the manual doesn't fit it's race car character. rs with a manual would be really cool.

better to argue a manual transmission in the rs then beg for back seats, a sunroof, stereo controls on the steering wheel, a convertible top, or massaging seats.
