Meh....to me 3RS is about fast lap times for a track car. Manual doesn't fit with that objective and would in fact detract from the car.
Street drivers of the 3RS might like it though.

No idea what people are doing with RS for street only. No way in hell they are getting anywhere near using its capabilities driving on the street. And yes same with GT3 but less so.
But go ahead and do it, it's your car.

That would be a terrible idea because I’d have to convince the Mrs why I need to trade in the 992 GT3 for an RS. I’m not sure “because it’s a RS” would work on her!!!!

Game change if they do it! Manual RS is what should be available as an option! These cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed... PDK is heaven on the track... but the % of time these cars are on track vs. street... for 'most' is less than 20% of the miles put on.
