Haha....well I was basing it on Jonny Lieberman saying embargo on the GT event at PECLA is today. Still early. Let's see.

If not, I will defer to Matt Farah's embargo statement for the same event - Dec 28.

Well on to the next one

I'm just trying to connect the dots, excited like the next guy. But I would trust Chris over me as I am not an insider. Chris seems to be in whatever capacity. Seems like a long wait though until end of Jan given the AP videos, GT3 Cup launch and the PECLA event. You would think Porsche had marketing plans to tie the PECLA event to something. Doubt it's just a random let's drive 5 of APs favourite GT cars from the Porsche Museum. Would think waiting 1.5 months to launch the GT3 looses the link a little if there was a link there to begin with.

Anyway. I just want the ball to start rolling so I can make a decision to move forward and start waiting for PTS allocation.

Well for what its worth, I'm also on a waiting list for the new Ford Bronco. It was officially unveiled in July. Build and Price didn't go live until October. Cant even place order until next month. Building doesn't start until late May. Deliveries end mid-end of summer. Total disaster rollout. At least Porsches unveils and Build and Price goes live the same day. Allocations are already (or soon after) assigned to dealers and orders can be placed right after that.

I suspect I'm going to get my GT3 before my Bronco even though the Bronco was unveiled 6 months ago.

I heard there was a production delay, a big one. Didn't look up why. What happened? Yes that is a disappointing way to roll out a reborn brand after all the hype at launch.

What's your Bronco spec? I'd like something for off roading (Bronco seems fantastic) but there aren't a lot of trails nearby here to make it easy and worthwhile.

heheh, every time I see this thread title in the forum, I get excited. It's because us Canadians are looking for good news to warm our hearts with winter bearing down.

I'm on the Bronco reservation list also. The delay is due to the manufacturer of the roof.

I am ordering a Badlands manual.

A lot of enthusiasts seem to be ordering Broncos, I recognize many of the posters on The Bronco Forums from my years on Bimmerpost.

At the risk of turning this important thread into a Bronco topic......but hey since SToronto keeps getting the GT3 unveiling date wrong (and it's his thread), we might as well go off topic a bit to pass the time.....

Sorry man. Keep checking back. Dec 28th or Jan 25th for the GT3 rollout?

Yeah production delays fromthe roof is a major issue. They also stated COVID stuff delaying things. Still frustrating. They rolled out the Bronco too early and were not ready to execute.

I needed a people mover and something to haul ****. Here is my build. I'm also getting a tent to go on top. Badlands about $62k. Luxpackage, big wheels, towing package, tent, leather interior and a bunch of other stuff.

I hope I didn't **** anyone off......

Wildtrak for me ... $56K. Hope I get it before the 73' 911 anniversary comes in 2023 :-)

That's cool. I am technically reserved for a Wildtrak but I can't option roof rails with the Sasquatch package which comes standard with that trim. (GVW limitation I understand). I need the roof rails for a SUP Board and tent. So I went with the Badlands which doesn't come standard with that package but then just added the big wheels.
