not really, in the whole picture its us driver who make a Car fly or not on track i guess. But who knows, the aero guys who did all things in the wind tunnel was on sight. Forgot to accually Ask him.

There are too many race teams with livery on their respective wings. Sure most of them need the advertising money but plenty of deep pocket privateers want to win and will go to any length to get the advantage within rules/bop. I can't imagine we'd have vinyl on these wings if it had any adverse effect. How thick is the vinyl? Maybe .1mm along the leading edge causing that much turbulence to affect downforce. Nah....I'm not following that.

Then Again if you got 1000kg downforce @300 km / h but now only 930 kg (70 less) What do that mean? Are you losing a race now al of a sudden? And winning if 70kg more downforce @ Max speed?

From: Mid-Atlantic (on land, not in the middle of the ocean)
Even if it was 70 kg (154 lb) at 300 km/h (186 mph), it would only be 1/4 of the that downforce difference at half the speed. It won't make any difference.
If I had this car, I wouldn't try to mod it, I'd just drive it. The ***** give more than enough adjustment to play with the car. I wouldn't even change the alignment unless there's clearly an imbalance issue with tire temps and wear across the tread width.

I could try to Ask the aero guy on the matter. For me, no Weisach so I Will have to lose 40kg downforce in the Weel house:-). (Haha I Will still manage)
But I add 70kg in a simple sticker delete. :-)
My Car Will be Wild…it may be baned from tracks due o Safety reasons (haha)

It seems the RS is a monster that most won't be able to exploit fully. Don't get me wrong, I think many will hop in and be fast, but it seems to take full advantage of the downforce, one needs a lot of seat time. The 'ring time was 10 seconds faster than the GT3, right? It seems like a targeted time (maybe could go faster), but even that is 2.5 seconds faster on a 2 minute course than the GT3.
To show the effect of downforce here's an S2000 doing 1:51.9 on the Thunderhill bypass configuration. It's only hitting about 125 mph on the front straight compared to GT3s which do 140+ mph. Yet, I haven't seen GT3s do better lap times. Both 992 GT3s as well as of course the 991 GT3 RS could go faster, but they generally aren't being driven quite like this one is. (S2000 on A055 yoko slicks, but still, it has less than 300 hp)

For the less experienced guy who tracks only occasionally, maybe not much faster than GT3. But for the guy who wants to drive it frequently and gradually peel layers of the onion to go faster and faster, it could be very satisfying (and challenging for years).
And even when driven at eight 10ths (without using all the aero), it’s still going to be very stable and confidence inspiring with so much mechanical grip.

I agree with this, but this is either a big benefit or not so much.
