Side note. RSR should have never gone mid-engine. The new platform has sucked this year.

It’s a new car - the teams are learning how to optimize them for the tracks on the calendar, and first year cars typically don’t get a generous BOP.

I wouldn't point the blame on the platform necessarily. Their last two races at Sebring and Road America was arguably theirs to lose, but costly team and driver mistakes took them out of the running. Sebring had the embarrassing pit fiasco where they ran into each other resulting in an additional pit stop due to a puncture and then a penalty, and Road America saw radio issues where Earl didn't hear the call to come into the pits to change to rain tires...only to get greeted by a flooded Turn 1 that sent him skating into the tire barrier.

Stoked to see/hear the center exit exhaust is back, but I'm more disappointed they won't be on the grid for Daytona 2021 so I won't be able to witness it.

Yeah it’s unfortunate they’re bailing after this year. So hopefully 6hrs @ SPA (WEC) gives us less grief here in a couple weeks...

Honestly though, radio issues or not; I’m pretty sure common sense would have you pit when there is a torrential downpour of rain lol

I told myself right when the rain started coming down that we were going to have the advantage. The RSR has always handled the rain better than others in the field. Then I realized with slicks & mid-engine layout... We no longer have the same advantages of the last platform slung over the axle in the rain.

Though you’re right on the pit lane accident. That was a joke.

Back seat option?
to hit 550 it’s gonna need those 3D pistons and rev to 9200-9400.

Clickbait pseudojournalist.

992.1 GT3 will not come with 550hp. I'll be happy to bet you a thousand dollars that it won't

It'll have 520-525hp tops. The 992.1RS may have 550hp.

I’d like to place my bet with Drifting (Less than 550PS), but I think more than USC’s 525PS (current GT3 is 500PS which is German for horsepower and is the metric rating, but 493hp I think. Porsche began using hp instead of PS recently)
