I've never made an appointment for a car purchase prior to my 2 Porsche purchases. Walking in off the street (at 3 different dealers before emailing the 4th) you have to extract info like pulling teeth - now they are very nice, just not interested in selling cars to walkins.

Like GaBiker, now I walk in and buy parts and shoot the **** with them, no problems. Even give you free stuff every now and then.

When I was new to the Porsche world, I thought it would be like the Harley shop - sales people eager to show you about their brand and products. It seems MOST Porsche shops are more about being luxury brand than "car guys"

I have purchased two Porsches from Mike Ludes. He did several things over-and-above. He called the port of entry to expedite the delivery of the GTS and also ordered an option at no cost post-delivery that I missed when I placed the original order. I recommend him highly.

Awesome experience from park place. I live in okc.. I called and bought the car over the phone and email exchanges.
When I picked it up paperwork took 1 hour ( that's really fast and included my test drive.

Highly recommend park place Porsche - also they have a fantastic race team imsa.

Our new arrival arrived two days early and is resting with his family.

I'll be updating this thread with info and driving impressions as I get to know the car. It'll be a great weekend for a drive!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback and support!
