I stopped watching your videos of flames shooting out of the 600LT... but now that I typed that, I remember how badly I want a 600LT that shoots flames... it's the topic of many discussions between JC and I... whom you also introduced me to!!!
I did convince JC to buy those wheels though, share the love!

Soul has my soul!
I had installed soul cats on my 991.2 and was very pleased.....
I have Kline headers, BMC filter and Cobb.
Now I went down the rabbit hole and have cat deletes... WOW MAMAAAAAAA!
the sounds with PSE on are out of this world....
I have had a really excellent experience with Soul products and their customer service....if I didn’t have headers I would join the venture of header development.

Have a look at the internals of the Porsche Sport Exhaust.
Thank you to @mglane83 for allowing us to dissect his system. We wanted to explore the possibility of modding the PSE to increase the volume without inducing drone by shedding the muffler casing. While it would be possible to make quiet mode louder through modifications, raising the volume of the valves open would be a challenge that at this time we don't have a solution for. We will consider our findings and apply them to a future rear exhaust should we craft one in the future.

It is, and yes, it is! I was pretty shocked as well. I didn’t really know what to expect, but I know this wasn’t it. That capped part would be the smaller diameter pipe from the cat on the passenger side (if I’ve got my bearings correct). There’s the ported/drilled holes from that pipe which feed in to the baffled chamber. What was also interesting to me what that the valves were on the larger diameter pipes; the actuation of the sport exhaust operated on the larger of the two flow paths. I guess though that’s how you would make a drastic change in sound, as opposed to a minor one. It’s interesting that the muffler seems to act like a resonance “sleeve” around the exhaust piping rather than a series of actual chambers like more traditional mufflers. It’s neat how all the parts appear to be interdependent to achieve the single unit, which I think plays a role in why there is no simple, effective mod. You end up having to change everything, and at that point, why not just create a whole new replacement?

I would also like to add that Mike and the guys at Soul were fantastic to work with and are fabricating some top notch products. If you ever have any doubts or concerns, simply reach out to them. They are great about effectively answering any questions, and they genuinely care about both creating quality products that are effective, useful modifications, and simply making sure their customers happy.
