Don't have much feedback on the products - but if you park your car or intend to park your car in the garage be cautious on who you hire to do the job. Garages that are used for cars are generally required to have a pitch.
Check local flooring companies, perhaps any that do polished concrete. I'm in South FL and we have all types of flooring specialists. Good luck!

They looked so clean and neat but when I had to remove them (upon moving houses) the amount of spider webs, small rocks and dirt underneath was nothing short of disgusting.
I would rather have some version of epoxy floor this time around.

Totally agree. I got this polyurethane stuff from Ninja coating which is 8 X stronger than epoxy and I love it. Not a great pic but its the only file picture I have on my phone right now that shows it.
Here is a slight variation on the urethane coatings. This is essentially a polyurea topcoat over a lightly polished concrete. My research showed that full color polyaspartic coating with flake would probably be the highest performing (most durable and most UV resistant), but I was not a fan of the solid color of "flake" look that many of those floors end up with. On the other hand, I think a polished floor looks great, but as others have mentioned it can stain if you use the space hard, especially with oil and other chemicals. This is sort of a hybrid. The floor was polished to show some aggregate and texture, and then covered in a clear polyurea topcoat with a bit of sand for traction. It's a nice balance for the way I use this space, which is both a finished indoor space with seating, office and gym, and where I store cars I use all the time and work on sometimes. Downsides are that that the thresholds have not held up to direct sunlight and I'm worried about what will happen over time inside, and if you drop something really heavy (like my jack which I accidentally dropped), it can chip. First pick is right after install, and then next pics are after about 6 months of use and little to no maintenance other than some sweeping.
I also want to mention that I'm three years in on my porcelain tile with epoxy grout and it is as perfect as the day it was installed. Expensive? Kind of, but I'm not moving. I can use a swifter and diluted simple green. No stains, period.
My only mistake was a stone look instead of rustic wood which I installed in a bathroom. Man that would look great in a man-cave.

I've seen some of you post some lovely garage floors in your car pics. Gotta look for something for my garage. It's a small double garage but I want it to look nice and practical with epoxy floor coating atlanta. I live in the land of salt and sand and drive my 911 year around so garage floor needs to be cleaned out a couple of times a year specially after winter. Post pics and pass on advice please.
Oh and if you have any idea of approximate cost just to gauge options.

Hello, We’ve just moved house and are looking for options on self-levelling products to use for a garage floor. It’s a new build and has a basic tamped concrete floor. It has a few minor surface drying cracks in. It gets quite dusty and we’re looking for some kind of self-levelling/latex floor that could be suitable as a top surface and also that might be covered with pvc tiles in the future sometime. The garage will be used for storage, especially children’s play things. We want to make sure that whatever’s used is safe for children to play on too. We’ve asked around and so far ideas are Ardex K 301 or Weber 4610 Industry Top. We don’t know much about the differences between these two products, and just wondering if anyone could help? We’re open to ideas and would appreciate any tips if there’s anything better. There seems to be so many products available and we want something that would be able to last many years and not crack. We’re also looking for a company who would be able to do this for us but we don’t really know what kind of trade this would be? We’ve seen specialist industrial floor companies who also do residential, but don’t know if this would be ott? Thanks in advance
I'm looking for ideas as well and ready to pull the trigger the first part of next year. I might just go with grinding the floor and doing an acid etch concrete product with some color in it. The prep work is key but the concrete will accept / absorb the stain and it becomes one. Then just do 2-3 topcoats of a UV sealer and call it a day...or 3 until it cures.
I had a friend pull his flooring out inside his house and do the same and it looks amazing. He did a marble type coloring.

I’ve done the plastic tiles and I’ve had epoxy floors at two different garages. They both have pluses/minuses but for my money next time I’m going with acid etch concrete as described above.
