When I was a kid and saw someone with a great car, I thought to myself that I'd work hard and own that car when I was older. Apparently that's no longer the mindset, and many people today resent successful people. So sad.

So true, and as you said, so said. Envy has been around a long time, but it is worse now than ever. My father used to tell me when I was just a young kid back in the 60's, "son, if you ever have anything don't let anyone know about it because they will hate you for it." Never been truer than today.

 

one of the reasons I am on this forum. One of the few places where I can share my excitement. I don't post or share anything about my cars or toys on social media.
