Other options to reduce interior trim glare?
I have a black/bordeaux interior with stock polished aluminum trim. On most drives I get annoying reflections and glare off the trim at some time, mostly from the console surround.
Besides the standard replacements (CF, wood) that all have gloss finishes, has anyone tried something with more matte finish?

Anyway, on a more constructive note, someone on another forum reported getting a very reasonable quote (~$300?) for a custom professional vinyl wrap for their trim. Seemed cheap enough (and reversible) to be worth trying.

The console trim leather piece in black is an easy do it yourself replacement. I bought it as soon as I got my 2015 Carrera and noticed the terrible glare. It does the job. I'm ordering the full leather trim for my 2018.

Is this just a problem with 991.2's? I have the base trim and it's never been an issue.... nor have I seen a posting and now there are multiple threads on the subject!
Personally, I wear sunglasses when I drive most of the time.
The lawsuits are ridiculous... It's not like Porsche advertises any interior as antiglare and they don't make anyone order a certain trim.

I have a glass sunroof and it's open all the time. I did notice a lot of glare but also didn't like how it looked. I bought the leather trim pieces and replaced the silverish trim myself.

For those interested, we have been offering the solution of having the center trim pieces done in leather. Many Macan owners have had their plastic trim piece replaced by our leather piece to stop the reflective glare.
See below an example of the PDK trim piece redone in leather to rid the cheap plastic.
PM for more information or any questions regarding your interior. We specialize in OEM design, utilizing OEM leather and threads.

I like the leather option but would really prefer wood. I don't see that on Suncoast, has anyone added wood that was not there before or any aftermarket options that are not fake ?
