Default what is this rubber hose?

I peeked under the front right wheel and saw this rubber hose sticking out about an inch.

Some people told me it's a gas or water drain. What is it?

Is it supposed to stick out at all? Or is it supposed to be flush with the bottom of the car?

Something to be concerned about?

AC drain? We don't have vent tubes any more with the AGM batteries.

Like belly buttons; some are inies, some are outies.

It's for the water drainage system in the car. There's all kinds of places for water to enter body/frame cavities so the engineers design drainage for it and that's the end of it. See the second post.

Thanks! does it matter that it is sticking out that far? should I leave it be or push it back in a little bit?

I don't know how long it's supposed to be. If you're concerned enough, go to your dealer and have them take a look.

Congratulations, it's a boy. If your car was hung a little more it would be dragging on the ground, now THAT'S something to brag about
