Keep the GT4. NA 3.8 with a near perfect manual in a cayman mid engined chassis is far more special than a GTS 911.

They make a lot more GTS than GT4. Unless you need the back seat keep your car.

I'm curious to hear why you're considering making the switch.

I don't have a GTS but I love my .2 C4S and was ready to keep the GT4 and not get my then ordered C4S. It's a long story, but being able to have only one high-dollar P-car at a time I would still take the GT4. It's a special car.
I'm first on the list for the next GT4 at my dealer (which probably means sixth behind the five 918 guys) and am hoping I can justify keeping both the C4S and the GT4 at that point.

Hmm. Now yall are making me rethink this lol. I do love the GT4 dont get me wrong. Crap ha.

It will be more money obv. Maybe I should just keep the GT4.

Just think the GTS will be a better all around daily driver. Heated seats/sunroof/ etc... i dont know maybe im wrong.

Logically a Merc is a way better DD than a GT4 or any Porsche if you're talking luxuries and comforts, but being a car person isn't about logic. I personally would rather DD an ACR Viper than a Merc.

I personally like a GTS better than GT4 and that is what I ended up getting. Rather tuned 3.8 engine than detuned. Plus found the 911 better in every way not sure why you would get GT4 over GTS rather than saving 30-40K

Go and test drive the GTS.......preferably one with RAS then make your decision.

I have both, each being quite different from the other.

The GT4 is the spirited canyon/track carving car Porsche said they would never build. The GTS, although quite capable itself is much more comfortable, quiet, albeit a rear engine grand tourer.

TO ME, the GT4 feels a bit more...sports car.

I have both. I agree with Buteo.
GT4 is more fun to drive, GTS is a more comfortable cruiser.

Neither car is perfect or special but in hindsight. If I had the choice now. I would choose the GT4 over the faster gts. The 6 speed would be the deciding factor. Even though the gearing is way to long and the rear suspension is held back. It is a smigint ahead depending how you feel that day. To close to call really.
Ideally, I would hold out for a manual gt3 allocation. Over list price and I would run to the Mclaren dealer. Porsche's are good but they arent great.

Have owned both. The GT4 is the more analog lightweight sports car. The GTS is a a better daily driver. Also, on the track the 911 GTS is faster. The 430 HP GTS it really rips with the PDK.

Totally agree, I went from a Cayman S to a Carrera S for exactly that reason. Few track days, and my wife wanted to take long road trips.
