Gorgeous and Congrats!
I need some help guys. I'm debating if I should get the AWD or not. I've always had AWD cars (Audi S6) but to be honest, I don't really see a need for it here in SoCal. I don't want to hijack this thread and turn it into a AWD vs. RWD battle but it would be nice to hear yall's thoughts. I'm leaning towards PDK with rear wheel steering. I'm guessing that the rear wheel steering will fill the AWD department without adding additional weight of the AWD? I'll probably track it a couple of times a year but it will me my DD for the most part with lot's of heavy foot driving.

Hahaha. Apologies to your wallet for calling that.
I’m sure it’ll go to a great buyer and enjoy that GT3, knowing full well I’ll be envious.
As for the RWD vs AWD question above. RWD all the way imo. Getting the back out with all that torque was the most fun part of driving the .2 GTS to me.

No again to the AWD. If you are not driving in the slippery for much of the year, why spend the money? AWD is more cost, more weight, more complexity, more maintenance, and more fuel consumption. Why? There is a reason Porsche used a RWD GTS to turn that sub- 7:24 on the Nordschleife. It is faster than RWD GTS on a dry track. For most buyers in the USA, there is no need to buy a 911 with AWD.
