For reference 718S - 23.5s, 991.2 base - 23.7s. Motortrend. Its the RAS thats the game changer.
The point I was making is there is a choice/package for everyone...............

I totally agree. .1 Base was too underpowered (relatively). .2 Base just rocks. I got the base engine but had to get the wider C4 for visual appeal and a whole bunch of largely useless options - just because. Base stripper is still one of the best cars out there. I'm paying $121k but I could easily get a .2 stripper @ $91k for 95% of the fun and fulfillment of my ordered car. Who the heck needs black painted spray nozzles anyway?
