Daily vs non-daily 911's

My 996 and my 997 were "typical" daily drivers. My commute to the office has changed; it is now a walk down the hallway from my bedroom to my home office. I put winter wheels and tires on my 991, but that's mostly for cold, dry days. I drive about 2,000 miles per year.

It's me and my wife's only car. We live in a city, and both commute to work via public transit so there's really no need for a second car. On days I drive to work I take the 911. Shopping we take the 911. To baseball games we take the 911. On trips? 911.
I put about 9000 miles on it last year. Not a single issue. The cars are meant to be driven and the 911 is the perfect dailyable sports car.

Giving thread a bump.
Daily, 365. Round trip, urban commute about 20 miles. On weekends, wherever I have to go, it's in the P car unless DW wants to sit up higher, in which case she drives and we use her GLK. In fact, I traded Macan S for my gently used 991, cause I could no longer drive in DE in SUV!

How about "do you bang your wife/girlfriend daily or save it for special occaisions?".
I'm not sure why anyone would deal with the hassle and expense of being in a relationship but choose to skip the fun part.

My C2 MT is a weekend toy. I've got an 8 mile slog through 30 some odd traffic lights to the train station garage. When it rains the garage leaks and the water will leave lime stains on the paint. Traffic in the evening is horrible and there is a lot of clutch action to get home. I have a 2017 Tiguan which drives nicely and is dirt cheap.

+1 for a TTS daily. Biggest issue is the number of near-misses from other commuters who think cutting me off at the last second will shave off that extra 10 sec from their commute.

Daily, as was my Cayman before it.
