First week impressions with a 2017 991.2 C4S Coupe
All thought I would share some first drive experiences with a 991.2 C4S Coupe and compare them with a 2015 991 C4S Cab
First - the cars are fantastic. . and continue to evolve to become even better.
The 991.2 is superior in the following ways. .
1) Faster
2) Electronic interface (PCM) is really improved - especially with Apple Car Play; google maps in 3D provides great views
3) I have come to really like the thumbwheel to control sport etc
4) The addition of front axle lift is a winner (especially if you have a steep drive way)
5) The Burmester Sound System has come a long way
6) The "Pre-delivery" App - is a great way to kill time while you are waiting for your car to be delivered
7) May be subjective, but think that the PDLS + has been improved
Cab vs Coupe
Never thought I would say this, because I have always been a big fan of "convertibles". . but the Coupe is really a better driving car. More solid and I think more pleasing to the eye
More after 100 days!!

Loving mine, as well, after 4 months and 1400 miles. I've accidentally touched north of 4k RPM once, for the briefest and most tantalizing of moments.
Great to hear the comparison with the .1 C4S convertible. Must say, when seeing them around in warm weather, it does cause me to wonder if I oughn't've spec'ed differently...

I used to have a Boxster S that I traded in for a Cayman S I built. I changed it primarily for the Coupe look and for better handling in theory
I loved the cayman S and IMO handling/driving feel was similar to Boxster S but when spring arrived, I was bummed out I could not put the top down and Cayman does not come with a sun/moon roof
I eventually replaced with a ordered Boxster S , For the few times especially early morning , and late evening during spring, summer and fall , top down is very refreshing and I suspect in the case of 911 , the drive feel is better in Coupe over Cab
Handling numbers etc might be similar but 911 Coupe has a tighter feel while driving compared to the Cab IMO
