If the guy doesnt know what he's talking about I can live with that.
But if this will cause a warranty issue then I do not want the car. I have no interest to deal with a 911 motor issue not covered under CPO.

I guess after STG none of us confirmed that engine failures that could be related to effects of the tune would not be covered under warranty due to the presence of the tune, and those are the big costly kinds of failures (not that STG ever needs any confirmation once you get to know his reputation). So if the car already has the tune, you do not want it. If the tune was an additional add-on he was selling that hasn't been performed, then I guess you still have an option to proceed. But I prefer to buy from people ethical enough to make sure that what they claim they are selling IS what they are selling.

ANY ECU flash will void the warranty related to any engine issues should they arise. Obviously won't affect it if your interior trim started failing or seatbelt failed. The warranty will be in place until an actual claim related to the affected parts come into play which they'll certainly challenge.
Anything engine related, and you're taking a risk. If something engine related fails and they're being asked to pay out, trust me they'll investigate.
Some of these companies claim they can go back to OEM which they can. I think Porsche would be able to tell it was on there. You'd be surprised the info they can pull off of it.
Also, any potential engine issues might not manifest until after the warranty expiration. I personally would NEVER buy a pre-owned flashed car. I think very risky long term for engine reliability.

Thats a bunch of BS. Most tuners have documented tests on dynos that prove they don't create the additional power of the x51 power kit. Porsche may balk, but they would lose. With your logic, the removal of a center muffler would void the drivetrain warranty due to the extra power. What about the drivetrain in the C2 being identical to the C2S with 50 more HP. I think your logic needs some work.
