Just like anything else, most of the time you get what you pay for.

quite true. This car came from The Porsche exchange and I was told by Michael Semersky that their paint shop is one of the best in the country- certified as well.

Likei saod earlier, it's not as noticeable to the naked eye. Pictures definitely highlight it more.

The Exchange are the ones who painted it??

Any paint needs to be tweaked from the formula to the specific car. Only a good paint guy with a great eye can do the best job. Two GT silvers cars made in different years or months can vary slightly right from the factory too.

Yep! The exchange handled it prior to shipping to Denver. Paperwork was finished and I was sent two pictures on an overcast/rainy day that looked ok-so the car was shipped out.

Really not a huge issue but a bit annoying. I was planning on painting the spoiler anyways so we will just have them look at the bumper too.

Good luck. Please update later.

Any good shop is as good as what guy is doing the work. They have their great ones and so so ones. Plus add in turnover, and you know where I'm going. If in Denver, you should have some great options.

If you're wondering what your car will look like when done, here's my GTS GTS with duck and GTS grill. (I ordered the car with duck, added just the grill myself).

And the Before:

Can someone list the actual Porsche part numbers? Also, can an independent Porsche shop perform the computer reprogram?

Hi Buteo, just curious to learn if you have been able to find online instructions on installing the 991 ducktail?

Man, the ducktail is surely my first big 911 mods for my car. Love the carmine red interior damn. My car is Agate Grey so I doubt it's going to be hard to match compared to a GT silver.

Went with the Aero Cup kit and kept the GTS engine cover. And bought the sunroof module.
