Targa 4s feed back
Nice, I had my side windows tinted but have not had the rear done yet....need to find someone I trust to do it the right way. And I assume this was taken before the Yellow "targa" emblems? They really look good and without them it looks naked!
By the way, when I clean my rear window I put the top in stow and with a step ladder I get on top of the engine cover and sit cross-legged, which makes it real easy, and a tinter might be able to use the same technique to make their job easier.

Did you used to perform in the circus? I can’t picture what you’re talking about - post a pic.

Ha! The next time I go back there I will get my wife to take a pic but there is a flat shelf behind the rear seats when the top is in the maintenance position (up and all the way back) and I sit facing rearward with my legs crossed.
HA! I had to take a double take as well. It was a hiccup on an iPhone pic. It couldn't happened again if I tried.
Decided to keep it. It's our first Targa and the wife loves the color combo. Having said that, everything I have is always for sale.

Good to hear, and see...I thought you had a sinkhole starting in your driveway!
If you can swing a Targa, I say go for it. It is the prettiest modern 911 ever since that wrap around glass and tricky roof came out. The lines are perfectly reflecting the heritage, and it looks way better than the original. Sure it is a heavier car and it is like more grand touring experience etc but no 911 today is light and so I dunno, who cares. They also keep value best.
When my dealer found my Targa, it had a full tint (I had them remove the side windows but left the rear glass tinted). I am not a fan of tinted windows but the contrast of the front a rear is interesting. I would agree that on the street (and not acting like a fool) the Targa is just as capable was any other 911 is in stock form. With a bit of tuning and a throttle controller (I am not a fan of drive by wire systems) the car is even better. I live within 20 minutes of Fabspeed (I remember when Joe was selling out of his trunk), AWE, and the new guys Soul (I have spoken to them, they seem to know their stuff), and there are lots of choices in the aftermarket to make the Targa even better. At my age the Targa may end up being my last Porsche, so I bought one without ever driving a 991 Targa. I bought a second steering wheel (I am having it redone with thicker nicer leather and larger paddle), but since it's purpose is to be a winter fun car I've decided to leave the suspension alone. I've been offered a 992 Turbo S, but I decided to pass since the Turbo S will not serve my purpose any better than the Targa and the 992 just seems to be too far from what I believe a 911 should be .I find things wrong with every machine, but I find the Targa has fewer flaws than I expected.
