Spare Tire and Mounting
I'd be inclined to purchase both if one can be returned. You likely couldn't mount it and return it but you could visually compare the two.

I am curious if anyone here in this thread, who has the spare wheel with the part number 991.362.050.01 can take a look at the inside of the wheel to see if it has this part number 996.362.120.03. If so, then it will help further button down the mystery as to whether or not Porsche has ever made a new spare wheel since the one they made for the 996 nearly 25 years ago.
This is what it should look like if it’s the same.
Additionally, if you can validate the specific wheel specs which are 17” wheel, 5.5” width, ET24. And lastly, the tire specs of 185/60-17 93P.
