just saying people are a little sensitive of an S badge, as if it was hurting someone. I did it for myself, and if someone believes it is an S by mistake, I am sorry for the inconvenience, didn't ment to cause any harm with my car

Very nice looking car. You should be proud to have a Carrera 4, most people would kill just to have that. It is a sweet ride!

I do agree it'd be better to either lose the stickers or correct them. Personally, I'd be embarrassed having it serviced as everyone who knows what an "S" is knows what an S "is".

Perhaps in an opposite approach, I actually chose the Turbo S as most of the folks will quite honestly confuse it with a base Carrera 2. I was even going to debadge it as well, but my son threatened to disown me. I know what it is as do the true enthusiasts that will appreciate what it means.

What was the reason for stopping at S? Why not put like "McLaren P1" or "Lamborghini Aventador SV" on there?

Some of those who posted here have been really nice about the "4S" badge. The only reason to put a "4S" badge on a "4" is to make someone think that you have something that you really do not. It's pathetic. Painting the calipers red? Looks great and I do not care that red calipers are reserved for an "S" or a "4S" from the factory. I have the same feeling about anyone who paints their calipers yellow which are typically reserved for PCCB. The wheels look great on the car. The car looks great. So do the red calipers, but putting a badge on a car to make people think it is something that it is not is vain, materialistic and too conscious of what people think of you. Why don't you just put "GT3" or "GTR RS" on the doors.

So, are you glad you posted this thread? Again it's your car , do whatever you want and makes you feel good. It's your money, do what you want. You may have to take some abuse but when you get tired of it take a ride.
You may change your mind after a while and really appreciate what you have. Until then enjoy the car.

Your c4 is far more rare than the c4s! Embrace it, but if it makes you feel better do what you wish with her. Your dime! But if ask people's opinions here then be ready for the bell shaped curve. What other mods do you have in mind?

i am not trying to fool anyone, if the forum members now it is a C4 is because I have posted it in several threads and I am not ashamed of it

i just happen to put an S badge on it for the fun of it, because from the outside the car is 100% the same.

but I think I stepped on some peoples panties by doing this
