Is there any documentation or anything that shows what the following will look like?:
• PCM with optimized screen design and functional improvements
• Instrument cluster with new air circulation display
I was looking at the 2018 GT3 interior and did not see anything different with the instrument cluster for the air circulation...unless I am missing something.
My order for a 2017 just got bumped today to a model year 2018.
Here are the changes:
Now included as standard equipment:
• Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel
• Connect Plus to be equipped with the following new features:
− Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI)
− Online Destination Search using Google®
− Nav and Info Services (News, Weather, Flight Info, Portal POIs, etc.)
• PCM with optimized screen design and functional improvements
• Instrument cluster with new air circulation display
• Optimized active carbon fine dust filter: reduces particles, pollen and odours. Filters out
fine dust from outdoor air.
Paint and interior are not immediately known. The price increase was less than what I was expecting.
As long as there's a data link (either ATT sim card or connection to my phone's hot spot) the PCM in my '17 already can do an online search. What is the difference there? Porsche has done an amazing job of obfuscating their entire menu of tech services.

Not the case for Canadian spec 911(s), I have had a sim card with data plan since the 2nd week of my ownership, the google map life traffic and google search isn't yet being enabled in Canada. Last year during a Porsche driving experience event, I asked Porsche Canada representative about it, he told me the service has not yet become available in Canada, but should soon be and that's 5 months ago now.
New being listed is Steering Column Casing in Leather with Stitching in Deviated Thread Exclusive
$610 as opposed to getting the deviated thread as a Z option. A couple other deviated thread options are shown as well.
