I have a 2013 and mine is doing it on both sides. I just bought it, the car was a CPO car but I have been told that the CPO warranty does not carry over to the new owner unless it was bought through Porsche. What I have done to hopefully stop it from happening again was to get my windows tinted with ceramic Llumar film.

Yep, I've heard others speculate that will solve it. Makes sense that heat and sun damage causes the warping
I just checked the Llumar website and they got lots of different products. Anyone has a recommendation as to which one is better? I prefer as clear as possible. Thanks

I'd recommend Suntek. Their Carbon XP or top tier CIR are both great products and available in 70% which looks essentially clear but has great UV rejection.
Mine has had window tint since day one. It is parked in the sun when I drive it to work which is probably 3 days a week. The panels started warping within a few months of it's 5th birthday.
Has anyone confirmed if they have seen this happened on door panels that are leather from factory? I have not - I've owned three models from this generation now (981/991), two have been leather panels from factory (a 2013 & a 2015), one has not (2014) and I've ONLY had this issue on cars without leather (which were replaced by dealership). That may simply be anecdotal so I was curious to see what others have seen. -Dom
I have an appointment for mine next month to be replaced.
This is what's happening with mine on both doors, the passenger door is worse with the top buckling or bumps forming. I believe this also started doing this on my old Panamera as well.
Glad y'all are happy but as a reminder, my replacement panels from last year are already showing signs of future lift. We're all looking as post warranty/CPO goodwill replacements down the road if keeping the car...
Begs for an aftermarket solution !

Begs for Porsche to step up and do the right thing, ideally without having to be sued this time
