That single line of deviated stitching looks great if you ask me. Gives the int just a little pop without being over done.

I would do the entire interior in deviated stitching, otherwise it won't look right, you will regret not doing it. At the price point for this car what's a few more thousand $.

I think that the single line looks great. For me, sometimes the deviated stitching everywhere is a little overwhelming. I think the single line gives it a very clean look.

Add it to the shifter and compartment lid and I think it would tie in nice.

Seeing the red stitching on the dash and no where else looks like an assembly line mistake. Do it all or save the $1200 for the spool of thread and get the red on the belts and gauges.

Agree.

EDIT- just the dash.....not good......the dash & the top of the door cards.......would be pretty good. I had to re-examine your picture and original post again.

At a minimum do the dash and tops of doors in deviating stitching.

I would do only the sport chrono face in red. Please don't do all the dials in red.

Tough call. I'm sure it would look good (dash and top of doors), but you'll wish you had it on the seats. I've got ivory deviated stitching & full leather throughout and on seats. It looks really nice.

I've been eyeing this combo and actually found a pic of an identical combination. This would be going into a black car.

Only consternation I have is with the deviated stitch. Don't want to spend $4000 on outfitting the entire car -- having a single line across the horizon like this is about $1200 which is much more palatable.

I would be getting black instrument dials and red sports chrono, red belts as well as a wrapped steering column with or without stitch (haven't decided yet)

Curious what the board thinks of this look. Does the limited deviated stitch look good? When you get wrapped up in the configurator it's easy to lose perspective.

Perfect; sharp but understated, not overwhelming. Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder, go with what you like. Everyone here has an opinion, including me, what matters is only your opinion. You'll have a grin on your face every time you ride irrespective of all these embellishments.

Oh maybe I was mislead by the thread title.

I am with LexVan on this one. Dash + Doors would be OK.

More is better IMHO, especially on a single color interior, but money does always have a say.

Good Luck, and let us know what you decide.

Cheers

Great feedback

So I will definitely do the dash and top of the doors and the rear panels at bare minimum. So it's a continuous line that goes around the perimeter of the car. I would get sports chrono in matching bordeaux, but leave instruments black. I would be getting red belts.

It's a tricky thing with stitching. If you get more than a little, then you have to do the whole thing.

I'd love to do just the seats and the single line around the perimeter, but I assume that will look bad without the center console, rear center section and complete door cards. And I really don't want to spend $5000 on thread. But I may be wrong on that assumption...

Dash and tops of doors looks great - love the red dials. I have red dials and SC in my CS2 and they look great - everyone that sits in the car comments on the dials!

Also, at night, the dials go to a dark, dark red colour (near black) and thus look very clean during nightime driving.
