Dash and tops of doors looks great - love the red dials. I have red dials and SC in my CS2 and they look great - everyone that sits in the car comments on the dials!
Also, at night, the dials go to a dark, dark red colour (near black) and thus look very clean during nightime driving.
Spend the money on CF for the trim. Covered in black leather makes the interior look boring IMHO. If I were doing partial deviated I would do the seats, not the dash!
Personally I would want any and all stitching to match. The seats, dash, doors, etc are just too close together for different thread IMO. I agree w others that the wrong combo is going to look like a factory mistake. If you want to set the interior apart I would just go for another color (esp 2 tone).
Also I agree w Blam that the black leather trim doesn't stand out much. I would not go carbon fiber bc I personally don't like it...but body color might look good.
I've been spending time reading the monster Exclusive thread and ran across this picture. It's clear that the thread used on the black leather is more grey is color. The two tone appearance of the thread on the door could be a problem.
