991.2 opinion

You like risk? Don't you know that if you drive it in manual mode even in 7th gear the lightest pressure on the throttle may cause it to loose the tail? At least in UK this time of year...
Ah, but the sound... Wait, who cares, it is not as good as a Ferrari, I am getting lost here... Will have to start reading the thread again... On second thoughts, I am out of here, this is a dejavu...

I finally bought a 2-year old 991.1 C2S today! Everything about it just feels right, I'm grinning like a stupid idiot! Fantastic car, and the demo 991.2 base was also a fantastic car. It's not all about the sound. The sum of the parts is greater than the whole.
Personally, I prefer a bit more raspy sound. Different strokes for different folks. My E92 M3 sounded way better, but the 911 is just such a different experience. I appreciate both cars in different ways.
I also see the appeal of instant torque. Just drove a Tesla 90D today, and it felt supernatural. I am actually looking forward to Porsche launching an electric sporty/sports car with a battery pack built into the floorpan. I'm sure it will handle like nothing else before it.

Ha! Very good. Not what I said at all. I was referring to the power delivery and was very surprised that on one or two occasions I had wheel spin when going up through the gears. Not quite losing the tail or sliding sideways every time it pulled the paddle!

It is good to see that each of us has an opinion and that this public forum is a great place to share our opinions and points of view
If you got angry or felt the need to insult anothers' point of view...maybe a "look" in the mirror is warranted---
Cheers
