Default Dark spots on paint

Hey guys and gals, I just noticed these dark spots on the paint of my three month old, graphite blue C2S. Has anybody had this issue before? Could it be the ceramic pro that was applied? It seems to be a paint issue, but I'm not entirely sure. It's just on the right door panel and on the rear panel just under the spoiler. Any thoughts? advice?

What have you tried so far? Will they come off with a quality quick detailer?

Who washes the car?
Who did the nano coating?
Was it paint corrected before the coating?

Lex, I haven't done anything yet. I just noticed it today and wanted to see if it was a common issue the community knew about before doing anything. I'm fairly certain these weren't there when I took delivery but I can't say for certain. I'm hoping is just something that can be buffed out, but I'm not too optimistic.

Only I have washed the car by hand and I'm obsessive about not scratching or doing anything harmful to the paint.
The ceramic coating was done immediately after delivery by a reputable shop after paint correction.

Thanks for the reply.

So, done by a detailer or dealership?

Can you test the removal with a quick detailer? Clean surface. Light pressure. Quality towel. Less it best. Don't want to make it worse.

How much was the paint correction and coating?

I'd be inclined to go back to your detailer or email them your pics. If it was a dealership, I would not let them touch my paint, and request a refund.

My WAG from the pictures is flashing from the coating because it was not properly wiped off at the right time.

Specifically I had an Xpel clear bra and Ceramic Pro silver package done by an independent shop. The car had 50 miles when I dropped it off to have the work done. I didn't notice this in the three washes I've done.
Today was the first time that it got my attention.
I have tried to wipe it down with a spray wax and microfiber towel but it makes no difference. I don't have any of the proper tools for a light buff job, so maybe I'll start by taking it to the shop that applied the Ceramic Pro. I'm hoping you're right and it can just be solved by buffing it out.

I had some staining like this on a Cyber Grey C7 after I had CQuartz coating applied. I would say it is the coating.

Do this. Do not buff it yourself. The detailer will know what to do. I think he'll just level those panels to remove the flashing, and reapply the coating.

Lex, you've made me feel a bit better about this whole thing. I was already dreading the possibility of having to take it to the dealer with some paint issue. Hopefully this is not the case and it's just a ceramic pro application issue. I will take it to the shop later this week.
Thanks for the prompt input.

I didn't keep it long enough to get it rectified, I had worse problems to deal with on that car. I coated my 911 Friday night without issue but I would assume this staining is more visible on darker colors, my car is GT Silver and so far shows nothing. I am sure they will get it rectified. Is this on a area with PPF?

C7 is a cool car, man. Sorry you had issues with it. Though judging by your avatar your current car situation isn't too shabby.
I had a full nose, mirrors, A- pillars, rear fenders and rocker panels clear-bra'd. The dark spots are on parts that were only treated with Ceramic coating. Enjoy your ride and hopefully no such issues for you.

When I bought my Spyder, there were shadows in the paint in spots that i discovered were supposedly caused because Porsche sometimes does not let the paint outgas fully before taping the car up with protective tape. My detailer had me wait a few weeks to OptiCoat the car to give it time to outgas, as he was concerned with sealing them in. If that is what yours are, my guess is they will have to strip off the coating to let the paint outgas. Just a guess.

Thanks for the reply. I'll be sure to bring this to the shop's attention as well.
