They should make one like the Japanese Kohlenstoff one. I like this one. Would change it a bit myself if I could. A little less "boxy" looking or make the fins thinner. Not sure. Haven't seen one in person.

I agree. Don't know the reasoning for making it so long that it extends to oil pan. Sure makes changing oil a real pain (unless you drill hole - but why would you have to in the first place) and always thought covering up engine/exhaust was a bad idea. A lot of money to spend for results like this @joeyrocks. Hope you get this ironed out.

Hey joeyrocks,

Your diffuser looks to be a version 2. The version 3 include the heat reflective tape. I have had mine on for months now and have driven it on long rallies and haven't had any yellowing issues. I'd suggest emailing Support@vorsteiner.com. They'd be more than willing to get you a replacement version 3 rear diffuser.

We reached out to the customer and Vorsteiner and will be helping him get it warranty replaced.

I agree, but their design isn't strictly looks, its also function.
Really hope I don't see that down the road with mine. If you want a direct contact for the person at Vorsteiner that helped me resolve the issue right away please pm me.

What function? Trying to say this creates more downforce or makes the car faster??

That's the idea. Not the going faster part. It improves traction at the rear wheels. Mostly above 100-120 mph from what I've read

I should note that I bought it for looks. Not function. LOL

Probably true in version 1 with no vents. I think the addition of the vents compromised the functional part, which reduced the diffuser to aesthetics. Regardless, there appear to be issues with both versions.

So, awesome news...

Eric from Supreme reached out to me when he saw that I was having this issue with the diffuser and after a quick convo and some legwork on his part, he has Vorsteiner sending me their newest diffuser with packaging to return the current one on the car.

The craziest part, I didn't purchase the diffuser from him and have never worked with him before. This is the highest quality of customer service I've seen in the auto industry.

I definitely recommend him and Supreme, also knowing that Vorsteiner stands by their product and customers is pretty great. I am expecting the new diffuser in a couple weeks and will post a follow up during the summer.

Thanks again Eric and Vorsteiner!!!

Hooray for Supreme! Talk about going above and beyond! Glad they are on the customers' side. Will be adding them to my supplier list.

Still, saddened by the two month radio silence from Vorsteiner. Takes a 3rd party vendor to fix a problem for someone who is not even their customer? C'mon Vorsteiner.
