Default Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser

Just received the latest version of the new and improved Vorsteiner rear diffuser. Replacing a Vorsteiner replica that didn't work out so well.

It's taken them until now to finally make a change to it?

Is the mesh integrated into the carbon fiber or just held down by the heat foil?

I can almost guarantee that the mesh is held on by the foil or glued.

It's hard to tell without pulling the foil back, which I'd rather not do, but it does fill very solid. I think that question should be directed to Vorsteiner.

Could you post a close of of the mesh-carbon border? If the two are not perfectly flush, I would say its probably held down. Just trying to figure out if I could do it to my own. I dont think they will be receptive to answering if it is held on by the foil.

Here you go, hope this helps.
The mesh is clearly on the inside, it"s either being held down by the foil or some type of glue and foil.

Maybe I'm a nitpicker - seems the heat shield is there to protect the carbon fiber, but the shield is reflecting the heat back to the engine compartment. Wondering if this could cause overheating to the engine compartment. I know it also has the vents, but still, just wondering.

Can you post a link to the site where you purchased the splitter? I've tried searching and get dead-ended on any Vorsteiner CF searches. TIA.
