Because I doubt I can find one configured EXACTLY the way I want it. I settled on my last three or four vehicles. None of them was exactly the way I wanted them. Close but wrong color interior or exterior or missing one or two options etc.....

The last Harley I bought I made a few changes to get it exactly the way I wanted it and was happy with it for almost two decades. ALL of the motorcycle manufacturers came out with new stuff every year but I was always very happy with my Harley and never had any desire to trade it for any other bike. I only sold it because I got to the point where I wasn't riding it any more.

I'm hoping to do the same with my next Porsche. Get it the way I want it and be completely happy with it for a few decades.

Thanks for the link. Works for me. Currently have 991 GTS....... C4S sapphire blue on order, red/black int. Looks perfect spec (to me).
But..... I would really like the extra grunt the new GTS offers. Trouble is, don't really like the alcantera so would have to pay over £2k to spec red/black leather, plus can't get the wheels I really like.

But the extra power.......

Can easily see this happening. I'm glad I started out with a base 991.1 as a stepping stone. I'm sure it's more than enough car, but this GTS .2 is a looker

In all likelihood not doing anything with new GTS but having fun wasting time today (productivity in my office has dropped exponentially). Bucket seats may put me over the top. Don't know if I can hold off for new GT3 when I can probably spec same black GTS only with PCCBs and bucket seats (and my wife wouldn't even know!!).

Only thing that saddens me regarding the new GTS is that it looks like P simply increased turbo size to increase power. Optimally better ways to increase power without added lag. Base engine was sweet spot. Will drive manual before making any decisions or passing further judgement.

Dang someone should let those world class Porsche engineers know they're doing it wrong!

Hey Gary, nobody said they were doing it wrong. This stuff is highly subjective. Some folks like a highly boosted engine, don't mind it, or don't even notice. No right or wrong answers here, only my personal opinions (and you know what they say about opinions?).

It is definitely a slippery slope with options. All of a sudden you are saying, "what's $5K more on $150K."

My money is on a big, fat NO. I never wanted to be wrong about anything more so than now.

I just got off the phone from Suncoast and they are expecting GTS LWB "this quarter." Credit card set to stun.

Get the Power Kit. It'll cost you close to what stepping up to the GTS would be but you'd be able to spec your 4S exactly as you desire.

The real $1,000,000 question is how much will the LWB cost to buy/install in my .1 GTS?

My guess: ~15K. And that will be hard to swallow.

So available to purchase as a part obviously if available elsewhere in the world. As a build? Prob not.

LWB in a .1 GTS = HOTT
