Will I miss the RWS?
It seems that this car is a track focused Carrera, will the standard sport chassis PASM be too stiff for a road car? I will not use it on the track.
I think rws is a must. I have a 2017 c2s now without it and for me I think the difference is significant. You will notice it on every turn and on and off ramp.
Thanks, you made my wife's day. I knew it was going to be a tough sell to get her ok with the purchase so I got on the configurator and let her pick out the color combinations. What a difference that made, now she's as excited to see the car as I am to drive it.
I personally like the extra 10mm lower stance of Sport PASM over standard PASM, but part of that call depends on where you live and the roads in your area. Here in Central Texas with little-to-no cold damage to the roads it is fine. In more northern climates or places with less well-maintained roads the opinions will differ.
If you want SPASM to be a little more compliant in normal driving then also add PDCC. When deselected, it somewhat softens the coupling of the stiffer roll cars in normal driving. With SPASM, I don't feel any desire to have the car any lower so there is no later consideration of lower springs. However, note that some don't lack the virtual lack of body roll your get with PDCC enabled. Some find it unnatural. I found it to be an odd sensation too at first but really like having it now that my brain has calibrated to it. We did just have someone post that the cost for changing the PDCC filter at 60k miles at the dealer is around $800 though, so if you expect to get that many miles on the car it is another little additional cost to consider.
I spoke to Yana at Porsche Exclusive today and yes Ultra Violet is go. Today was actually the last day to enter Paint to Sample, luckily she knows my dealership's General Manager well and was able to push my order to V180 status. After searching here on the forum, Im still not certain what that "V180" represents. Is this a manual request to Germany for approval of a PTS spot?

Apparently, from what you tell us, your dealer
confirmed with PCNA/PAG that 'Ultraviolet'
has been approved as PTS for the .2 991 GTS
& possibly any/all 991/718 models. This is
the first I have heard of that color approved
for a non 991 gt3 RS.
Can you provide for us here in Rennlist
with documentation that 'UV' has indeed
received PTS approval on the 991/718
model for the 'record'?
'UltraViolet' is one of the most stunning
colors ever formulated by Porsche for
the 911. And it's the most desirable
color for many (especially long-term
collectors) in the current 991 gt3 RS.
Many would be interested in knowing
for sure that it can be ordered on the
regular 991/718 models as PTS. Thanks.

I traded a 991.1 S with standard PASM, but test-drove a 991.2 S with SPASM and didn't have any concerns about being too stiff.
I know a lot of debate about the new engine with the 991.2, but from my test drive I was sold... Low end grunt is much improved
