Wonder back in 2010 where they projected they'd be in 2017?

Interesting about the traffic info. Where I live and mostly drive, traffic is not a big issue most days. But I do use waze on a regular basis. I have an iPad Mini-4 with a data SIM, I have not figured out a mount yet for the TTS, but I got all winter to do that. I have set it up on my V60 using a small magnetic cell phone mount that works well. I just like the bigger screen for waze maps. As I noted before, we dropped all our Sirius accounts a few years back, never again.

As for mounting your ipad, check this out

By the way, if you really want to cancel without having to spend an hour or walk away with another discounted 1-year subscription, just tell them you no longer have the car, that it was sold, a lease end, or whatever. On my previous lease, I was able to cancel easily this way. If they try to convince you to transfer the subscription to the replacement car, tell them that there won't be one.

Now have 3.

Last year I called and said shut them off after they tried to hose me $200/car.
They came down to $94.54/car tax included etc...still too much but did it.

Just received auto-pay billing coming up in 30 days - renewal for $204.88 each for the "SiriusXM Select Family Friendly" package.

Anybody chime in on the latest deal you're getting and other than telling them
to shut them off is there a secret handshake that I should try?

BTW I do like it

THX
I don't have the patience to read through the all the replies but I always ask for the $27 or $30 basic package. That's the total for 6 months of service and I don't think they cut out anything. The auto-renew is stupidly expensive. I got hit with it 2-3 times already because I forgot to call in and was too lazy to call in afterward Hope this helps.

I'm beginning to see a pattern here.

I have read elsewhere, that paying by check solves the auto renew problem.

Afraid not. You checked a box that says you will call to cancel in any case or you will be auto renewed and owe the money.

I've been paying by check and NOT getting auto renewed for 6 years on 3 cars. I tell them I want invoice billing only. Not once have I been auto renewed. They did it to me once and I cancelled all three cars. And they came crawling back with $30/6 month renewal.I hate this company with a passion but love listening to Stern. When he leaves I will drop them the next day. They, as everyone has already stated, have THEE worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. And what's worse is they really just don't give a s**t.

And of the 50 here not willing to get ripped off, millions of others pay full going rate whatever they feel like charging. This "auto renew" works to their advantage big time as many people don't even look what they're spending.

Uh, you are renewed by invoice so you don't need to be auto renewed. Don't pay the invoice and see what happens.

Exactly. They are maximizing revenue the way they are doing it. Imagine a for profit company maximizing revenue. Shocking!

Not being able to change account preferences regarding subscription online is ridiculous in 2017.
