Low intermittent buzzing sound when moving
A few days ago I put gas in the car and right afterwards the car has been doing this Low intermittent buzzing sound when moving. It almost sounds like the parking sensor, but extremely muffled.
The sound comes on only when the car is moving and then goes off, and then back on. When I'm driving quickly with the engine revving I can't hear it, but whenever I'm in a parking lot or driving slowly in traffic it starts again.
Anyone have any idea what this could be?
I have a 2014 991.1

Perhaps one of your speakers is loose?

Are you referring to the transmission whinning noise at low gear? You can do this - turn the ignition to on without starting the car and see if you hear the buzzing sound (if it's the same buzzing sound you heard)
Or it could be your fan.

When you say "when moving" is it under no throttle (coasting) or very little throttle. Just thinking it might be the fuel pump.
If I didn't have this head cold I would be out in the driveway seeing if my car makes a similar noise ..... but my ears feel like they are in a Pringles can at the moment and would not be any help.

I had the same buzzing sound and mine turned out to be the driver's side seatbelt insert (the plastic female part). When I grabbed it, it stopped the buzzing and was only intermittent. I put one of these in the seat gap and solved the problem.

Is your AC on when this is happening? If so, when you hear the noise turn off the AC and see if it stops. People have reported intermittent whining noises caused by faulty AC compressors.

I don't understand why it started doing this right after I put gas in the car when it never did this before

Very well might be the fuel pump. Ever since Porsche went to direct injection in 09. They use super high pressure fuel pumps. Take it to the dealer for them to diagnose if your still under warranty.

If it turn the car on or am just sitting in the car without any throttle I don't hear it. Once I get on the throttle at all it comes on and off. When I was driving and saw a red light ahead I put it in neutral and still heard it as I was costing to a stop.
