Loos kind of low. Maybe too low. Doesn't like there's enough room for suspension travel.

That's why height adjustable sleeves are good, you adjust to "your" taste. It rides better than stock actually.

do you know how KW HAS would ride with base Carrera non-PASM suspension? I had techart springs on my 997.2 with non-PASM suspension and found that it rode better than stock. softer on actual bumps even though it was lower. Can't explain it better than that.

If you're asking if the springs are progressive, then yes. I'm a huge fan of my setup, not bouncy and rides just like PDCC stock setup (maybe 5% firmer in feel).

The kit includes smaller bump stops so the suspension travel is not a problem. My car is about the same height and I have no problems with suspension travel or tires rubbing.

Terrific instructions and I have just purchased a used kit from a member here.

I do have a question. Does anybody think there would be an issue with flipping the front main spring and helper spring so that it looks like the rear setup (i.e. helper spring on top, main spring on bottom)? I realize the factory spring perch and bearing will have to be moved from the camber plate to the lower spring perch so that the end of the coil spring fits properly on the lower perch.

The reason I ask is that the Stance air cups want a 99 mm or less spring diameter and the KWs are 102 mm at the top but only 92 mm at the bottom.

Default Long term update?

Hey all,

Thanks for the great write up. I’m thinking about getting this setup to replace my Techart Springs. They’re great but are just a little lower than I’d prefer. I’d like to get an SPASM height and the possibility of getting corner balanced is appealing.

For those of of you who have his setup, can you give a long-term update? Do you still like it now that time has passed?

Old thread, but I am looking into these for my car right now. I talked to KW & Elephant Racing today.

Spring Rates:
KW: 250F / 570R
Elephant Stage 1: 300F / 550R

Good to hear. Part of me wants to get the Bilstein Damptronic B16 instead but they are 2x the price and I am really wanting exhaust and a DSC sport controller...

I have a vendor I can ask... if we can get a few orders together might be able to do better. KW told me they would take about 6 weeks to come from Germany. They are out of stock in Germany too. Best quote I can find without asking around is $1490 for the PDCC version which cost a bit more.

Great write up. I ordered the HAS set for cars with FAL. Was also told it would take 4-6 weeks, but it ending up taking less than 3 I think, might have been only 2 weeks. Waiting to install when my new wheels show up in a couple of weeks, but pretty excited overall.
