Yes... I dropped about $500... I should consider investing in the company! Thank you for the heads up.

I since bought a HD Flex polisher and some accompanying pads + product. It is amazing how much this industry has advanced... ie "How naive I truly am after thinking I knew how to wash/wax a car".

I fully intend to practice on my old truck and then a few other sacrificial cars first. It will be a long time before I trust myself to do anything more than a good wash on the Porsche. I now doubt I'll ever let anybody touch my car again. Please forgive me, but there was a member here who agonized over having the dealer prep his car. I now share his pain.

Autogeek had a Memorial Day sale, so I am sure they will not be left behind on Black Friday. It is a good place to learn about new technologies that have been tested first. It is a bit overwhelming to see so many brands in each of the categories, but again, it is comforting to know that they have been advertised as Autogeek bench-tested. They unfortunately use the marketing material from each brand, instead of rating it themselves.

One last thing... I ordered some car shampoo and a "foam cannon" that hooks up to a garden hose with my first order. I couldn't believe how rich the wash water was when I cleaned the car. The soap mixture was nothing like anything I had ever bought in the store. It was an amazing introduction to my education! For this reason alone, I cannot thank everyone here enough who has taken the time to share their experiences. I'll go slow, and practice a lot. Thanks so much.

shucks... tried it just now and didn't work. they also charge additional shipping because it drop ships from vendor.
Per their site-

Thanks for that. My kid has been harassing me for months about getting a power washer for his auto detailing exploits. $400 off the cheapest price for a Kranzle K 2017T is a heck of a deal.

I'm a huge fan of the Autoglym Car Glass Polish.

Its like putting on a wax on your glass. Simply allow it to dry and buff out with a microfiber cloth.
Comes from England and can be difficult to source. Check Amazon. Luckily, a local high end car wash near me carries it for $12.95
I don't think you can get your glass any cleaner!

Hi guys,
I'm picking up my car soon and want to make sure I clean it right. One thing I haven't seen in looking through posts was how do these wash products work with cabrio roofs. Can I use the no dry, no rinse products on the roof or I do I need to use something different. Thinking of getting the chemical guys starter kit with foam blaster, but want to make sure I am not hurting my roof. Any suggestions?
