Great choice ! This car has all of the right options. I optioned my 2016 Carrera 4 GTS with the exact same options, having spent months ruminating on all of the possible options.

Nice find and build. Sweet to have the 18 way seats too. And those S wheels in silver really set the agate gray nicely. Btw, those wheels are the lightest (a very good thing) of the factory wheel sets. Enjoy in good health.

Thanks Rob, nice to know about the wheels being the lightest... that's a plus that I wasn't aware of.

And thanks again everyone! There are lot's of great cars and drivers here to say the least.

I was initially hoping for a GTS 4 too David... but I couldn't get there without significantly breaking some spousal promises on budget. Those are demanding quite a premium on the rare occasion one can be found. Exquisite choice.

Beautiful car! She's a monster, isn't she?! But she can be so remarkably comfortable as a grand touring car as well, as I am sure you noticed. If you switch off the PSE and go into normal mode, the car gets remarkably good gas mileage and is incredibly quiet and comfortable, even at high (i.e. above the speed limit) speeds. Love the agate! Enjoy!

How funny - Just last week I sold my 2009 Silver Carrera PDK, and bought...yup, a 2014 Agate C4S PDK. I have been gone all week, so I've really not touched the car since parking it in the garage. Looking forward to putting some miles on this weekend.

That's a hoot! I'm afraid I'm currently racking up some DD miles on mine since my son's Audi had a major engine failure and I've lent him my truck until the repair is complete. But I guess it's nice to have that as an excuse to go out and have a great time taking the long curvy way to work. I hope you'll enjoy yours as much as I am mine. Let's at least see an avatar update soon!

Great pictures and congrats on the very nicely speced .1! The one thing I wish mine had was the LEDs; they look so menacing and you captured that well in your pictures!

Beautiful car, nice pics and write up. My C2S was Agate, you're going to enjoy the color. Who was your SA at Strong's? Good group of people there. Have fun driving!

Thanks! I was beginning to think that finding a car with all of my must-haves plus my would-really-like LEDs wasn't going to happen, then I finally found this one with everything on both the must-have and want lists and didn't wait long to make the call. I'm glad they are there both for the uniqueness of the DRL pattern and the amazing night time lighting performance and PDLS+ behavior. I've found myself just having to head out in the dark a few times just to enjoy them along with some window-down/top-open time in light traffic (the only good time to avoid traffic and daytime summer heat here in Austin without heading driving out deeper into the Hill Country).

Thanks. I've been admiring your car on your thread as well! I only got to know those guys face-to-face for one morning, dealing mostly with the salesman Val and sales manager Jeff but talking with several others as well. But you are right, everyone struck the right balance of friendly yet professional and made it quite a pleasant buying experience.
