991.2 Owners - Thoughts, Likes, Dislikes, Regrets?

I have had my 911 Targa 4S since July 2016. I have 2500 miles thus far and love the hell out of it. This is my first 911 but I did drive many 991.1 for months of making my decision to go with 991.2. I really have no regrets except for not choosing the MT. I know I have the heaviest 911 of the pack but for the type of driving I do, it suits me perfectly. I wanted the classic feel of the Targa and I really love the low end torque (previous car was a Macan Turbo....boost boost boost). I did order the front axle lift and use it on a regular basis living in NYC, its a must have.

Thank you ALTBond, only thing left to do is waiting for Porsche on the black chrome rear sport exhaust tips and thinking on changing the stock headers to the new Fabspeed custom headers.

MT is fun. I chose MT for the same reason you decided to go with Targa - that's exactly what I wanted and it's ok if it's a small fraction of a second slower to 60. Would love to know your full specs.

Aftermarket Exhaust
Spoke to Fabspeed yesterday, great people and very knowledgeable about Porsche Cars. Thinking on going that route, don't get me wrong....PSE is awesome but, I made the mistake when test driving both 991.1 and .2 and my first 911 experience was a .1 C4 GTS. That sound was stunning and it just ate me up. I loved it so much, I never forgot it. So watched a few videos of the FS exhaust for the .2's. They sound really good, not as good as that GTS but really good for a Turbo Car. So def thinking about it. Just curious on some of us who made the plunge and their thoughts. I should start a new thread for this.

What I don't like about my 991.2 ?
I think Carplay is poorly executed but I guess that's more an Apple problem rather than a Porsche one. Still disappointing to the point that I'm not really using it and I use the normal PCM functions.
Also front suspension could use some work in my opinion. The front of the car just doesn't feel firm enough when cornering at high speed (not at the track). The car doesn't feel planted and I feel like the front bounces just a little bit. With PASM activated it gets better. Wonder if DSC could solve this.

I don't have my car yet, so I am in no position to make a comparison. However, something tells me I'll be saving my nickels and dimes.

No, it was the one about the base 991.2 with their exhaust system put on it...but this is another killer video. The exhaust note is lovely, and the tips are beautiful.

For reference, we just got some nice footage of our Sport Headers/Catless setup this week for a PSE equipped car. Quite a monster that one haha.
