I've ordered these on my car (in gloss black), due December. Here are some pictures i previously found. And then my renderings.

Thanks. That video of the guy picking up his Agate Carrera is what gave me pause about these wheels. I like them standing still, but if you notice at the end of that video when his car drives off, the wheels look like 10 spokes at speed, as the silver outlines of each spoke take over and you don't really see the five spokes. I hate that kind of 8-10 spoke look.

But then I went back and watched the 718 Cayman S videos a few minutes ago and at real speed they do look more like five spokes. I do think these wheels look really good on the new Cayman S.

That looks killer. Is that a SPASM car? Can't see the front well enough to tell.

Also, how did you get those center caps? The Carrera Sport wheels I've seen have the colored ones. I much prefer those platinum silver ones.

Agree, those are great looking wheels.

Arch, by default, the center caps are those color. The $185 optional ones are the colored crests. FYI.

No, that's not correct. On the Carrera Sport Wheels, they come with the colored crest in the center caps. I too would like to know how to get the non-colored version. Thanks.

Thanks guys. It's SPASM (great stance). I purchased the silver/black center caps, had a shop match the paint and fill a rattle can, taped off the crest and painted them to match. The match is so-so, perfect from some angles and light but a little darker straight on. I might give it another try. I did it to complete my black on blue look. All the trim, including the tailpipes, are black except the red S following the 911 on the back.

Those Miami blue coupes with the carrera sport wheels are flat out some of the best color combos in years.

I do think the new Carrera S wheels are much improved and look cool once the car starts moving, but once a five spoke guy always a five spoke guy. I think it's the 1970's left in me.

I'm with you on five spoke wheels, they just look right. As soon as I saw the new Sport wheel, I quit looking at the others. I especially love the classic Fuchs 911 wheels--I have one sitting on the floor in front of my desk.

+1.
The colored center caps are no cost with the Sport Wheels.
I guess Porsche figures you spent enough already on the wheels!
BTW, the Gloss Black quickly turns to Matt Black unless you wash your car a lot. But the upside is the Gloss Black finish is very slick and they clean very easily.-Richard
