Default Replacing GTS door emblems

Not sure if discussed before but was wondering if anyone has done before. Taking off the stickers from the door sides and using the emblems from the rear.

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...GTSEMBGTS.html

Noticed a small air bubble on one and was thinking of doing something else. When I checked for replacement, the metal rear emblem set is like 1/2 the price.

Just a thought but still kinda like the "sticker" instead of having raised lettering...whatcha guys think

They are plastic but it's an interesting idea. Check the size of the OEM stickers. I have a feeling they are much larger than the rear emblem.

IIRC, the rear badging on the Cayenne GTS are a little larger. $ 35.98 (both sides/free ship) T

Putting a 3D badge on the door is gonna mean extra work when cleaning the car. I know that cleaning in between the lettering on my rear badge is a PITA. Don't know how OCD you are, but keep that in mind if you decide to go forward with this mod. Also, the front part of the door gets dirtier than the back of the car. Yeah, $160 for a GTS decal set from Suncoast is just plain obscene. You can probably get a GTS decal custom made for less than $50.

or leave them off entirely - those of us who know/care what a GTS "is" will know it is a GTS without them, too everyone else its just 3 letters IMO YMMV

Don't worry ... DrCollie got it when he put HRE stickers on his car. Was it on the doors or back stone guard area? I forget. Didn't go over well. Now that's going back a bit. He posted here or 6Speed. Maybe someone can find the thread

i think it would ruin the lines by doing that....raised letters on the doors, ah no! I'm with STG and others. You are so lucky to have a beautiful car!

I also vote for skipping the raised badge. It may look funky from an angle other than straight-on, and it'll stick out way too much on your gorgeous white car.

Leaving it stock wouldn't hurt much. Lol. I'm sure Porsche will honor the bubble issue.
