What car, new or old, epitomizes driver engagement to you?
In other words, what one car would you want in your garage for life?
Practicality and cost are not a consideration for purposes of this thread. But, it has to be actually purchaseable so no Abrams tanks, Bloodhound SSCs, or 911 R...

Why, my current 911 C2S (991) of course!

Besides an occasional lust for a Turbo S, anything I get to replace it will be more of the same - another 911 S or 4S, of course. I love driving this car so much! I look forward to spending quality time with it when I leave for work in the morning and when I come home in the evening. And taking it out on road trips (or autocross) on the weekends So much fun!![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Staying in the Porsche family, I'd say a 959

The 911 was a dream of mine since I was about 7 years old. I'm in my early 30's now and still can't believe that one is being put together for me right now as we speak. My other dream car at the moment is a 458 :-D. I doubt I'll ever get one unless I leave the New York metro area, which I doubt will happen till I'm well in to my 50's.

After only 400 miles, I would have to say my 991.2 C2s. My first sports car and such a lot of fun to drive. For sheer fun, giggles, and OMG acceleration, I still like motorcycles. There is something about leaning into corners that cars cannot equal-for me at least. I am discovering just how incredible and versatile my 991 is though, and just very very impressed. Maybe a Land Rover defender would be fun for off road stuff. I heard they are making a new one?
