I received the Goald Coast Region magazine today and there's a cupon for $175 a $225 value. Which one is the correct one?

Solid deal, really hoping they stay aggressive and become a great option locally.

It's a Penske dealership. Don't count on it. They're trying to stick it to Champion and get some of that market share. Champion I hear isn't always the best deal, but very into the car business/racing and into the Porsche brand which is admirable. One of, if not the highest volume dealers in the USA.

While you're getting your brakes done or an oil changes you have to sit through a 90 min timeshare presentation.

I have a new 991.2 with 1500 miles. The computer says an oil change is not due until 10k miles. For $100 I am thinking it might be worth it to change it even if not required. Thoughts? Thanks

Yeah the new Penske dealership is trying to take business from Champion Porsche and establish some new customers. But great deal. Of course you could do it yourself for less. The brake flush is a good deal, I would not try that myself on the Porsche.

I think Porsche, not Penske, is trying to take business away from Champion since they are the #1 volume dealer and always asking for more cars. Porsche also gets paid more money from starting a new dealership.

LCW, the $100 deal is off the total bill not for a $100 oil change.

By default PCNA is splitting up the market just by opening up another dealership. Business is booming and they can justify it. The problems start when sales go down or a recession hits. These oversized dealerships have lots of overhead.

Penske on the other hand is trying to break into an established market that Champion has been servicing for years.

So, $100 off? So much for the $100 oil change

Unless they are using the oil change as a loss leader, $100 doesn't cover the cost of parts.

Filter $40 or so for a Porsche filter
Oil $8/quart - $64 or so.

That's over $100 in parts alone.

It also doesn't make sense that the Brake Fluid change costs more than the oil change, since the brake fluid change is only $20-40 in parts and takes less time to complete.

You are using retail costs. Dealers don't pay $40.00 for a filter.

I just made an appointment. the coupon covers the first 5 quarts of oil. you have to buy the rest. I believe the oil capacity is 8 or 9 quarts.

which Porsche model has an oil capacity of 5 quarts? is it the Macan?

There's always a catch, isn't there?

I'm guessing that the V6 engines are the lower capacity choices. No real Porsche takes less than 10 quarts. Argh, argh.
